Interface Changes, DEAR Margin Reports, Katana Maps, and more!

We've updated everyone to our new, cleaner interface. We've added data and reports to help you analyze your margins in DEAR. We've added location data in Katana so that you can build maps of your customers. And more!

We've moved everyone to an updated interface for your data sources and report lists. The change isn't major, but it reduces the number of options on the screen and helps you more easily find what you need.

We've added sale invoice lines and sale inventory movement data to the DEAR connection, enabling you to look at the actual COGS of products in your DEAR reports:

We've added improvements to help you easily report on invoices and credit notes together. Together, these changes make it easy to look at margins by SKU, margins by brand, trends in profit by product category, and more! We've also added charts of accounts to help with your DEAR accounting reports and dropship fields to help you track your dropship orders.

You can now report on your billing address and shipping address data in Katana. You can use this data to look at your Katana data in a variety of map formats:

We've added two new scripting functions to help you easily group up your data in Easy Insight. First, we've added the 'ranged' function:

ranged([days], 0, 30, 60, 90)

Will produce outputs of 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90, and 91+ for the value in the days field. You can also use the new 'rangeduom' function:

rangeduom([days], "days", 0, 30, 60, 90)

Will produce outputs of 0 to 30 days, 31 to 60 days, 61 to 90 days, and 91+ days for the value in the days field. This function is very useful when you're putting together tables of accounts receivables or account payables, batch expirations, or ticket resolution times.
